Developed as a teaching innovation project in 2006 by an interdisciplinary team of academics, with funding from the Royal Academy of Engineering and input from the Higher Education Academy. Through relevant, contextual and interdisciplinary student-led learning, students become better equipped to initiate and manage change towards sustainable development in their professional careers.

In 2007 it won an award - Highly Commended in the National "Green Gown" Awards in the courses category.
